Baby J has arrived!
So Thursday I headed up to my hometown as soon as I could get out of work to help my sister when she had her induction on friday. We had to be at the hospital at 5am and at 6 they started her on the pitocin. Nothing much happened till about 4pm then things progressed rapidly and at 5:05pm he was born. Baby J is really little weighing in at 7 pounds 10 oz. We were thinking he would be more like 9-10 so it was a big shock when they put him on the scale and read out that number. He and mom are doing great and went home on sunday morning.
I came home saturday evening, after stopping and picking up a load of stuff from my storage unit. Saturday I put the last chunk of money down on my bridesmaid's dress for L's wedding in July. I have to head back up next weekend to visit with L. since I didn't get to see her while I was back.
I had a few thoughts as I sat there waiting for Lil Sis to pop and I am still getting them sorted out on paper before I write about them. But one thing I will say is that a few days before I got ready to go up there I came to a conclusion.... I need to stop looking for a man. All it does is stress me out and then when I go out with one a few times and he turn out to be a loser I can't get rid of him. So I am going on a dating hiatus. And that will have to tide you over till I can get the rest of my thoughts on paper.
