I forgot to mention on Sunday that at some point during the day last Wednesday the electric to the water heater in my building was shut off. No this is not because I didn't pay my bill, but because since no one changed the name on the bill for the empty unit that does control it, the electric company came and shut it off. So I have been warming water on my stove to wash dishes...and myself. It is starting to get a little old now and I just wish for it to stop. I had talked to the landlady this morning and she was hoping to have it all turned back on today, but no such thing had occurred when I got home this evening.

Ok so it is the weekend and it is time for that all important update! Today I am

Other stuff..... Grandma's knee replacement surgery was this week and it sounds like she came thru it with flying colors. Mom comes in at 3am on friday morning and I have to pick her up and then take her to WI to take care of grandma for a while. Then the following week I go up for thanksgiving and bring her back on thanksgiving day.

Other than that not much going on. I am never home now so I never cook, and I really need to go buy some groceries, since I haven't in more than 2 weeks. The freezer is starting to get a little bare in it's stock, but the pantry seems to be doing fine. I did put some food in the crock pot yesterday before I went to the jobsite and this morning before I left, so I will have something to eat when I get home from the laundry. I woke up today at 6am...not exactly sleeping in but closer than the 5am that I normally sleep till. I did read a book right away so that saved me from loosing that time to something productive. I am planning to go home and read another as soon as I can. I picked up 3 in my jaunt to the bookstore.
